Alignment Can Affect Your Overall Health
Using advanced imaging software and posture mat analysis, we are able to measure the effects that our treatment of the positioning of the jaws and mouth has on the postural structure of the body.
Studies prove that by creating a more ideal relationship between the upper and lower jaw that the relationships between the neck are directly affected. In fact, treatment with dental repositioning appliances resulted in a reduction of what is known as forward head posture by enabling the patient to “stand straight” when they previously did not have the ability to stand in a correct posture.
As a result, changes in dental positioning have a direct effect on overall body positioning. We monitor these changes and assist our patients in understanding and improving their overall posture through the application of dentistry.
